The program develops:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New varieties with tolerance to biotic and abiotic factors,<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ecological inputs to reduce the effects of pests and diseases,<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ecological inputs for soil fertility and plant nutrition,<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strategies for organic and conventional crop management<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MIC's areas of expertise are: plant health, agricultural microbiology, soil fertility and plant nutrition.
