At the aforementioned event, representing the PROINPA Foundation, Engineer Cresencio Calle Cruz gave an oral presentation on the topic &quot;Dynamics of Land Use Change in the Southern Altiplano of Bolivia in 30 years&quot; as part of the Al-INVEST Verde program: &quot;Sustainable growth of MSMEs working with Royal Quinoa in Bolivia, through regenerative agriculture and a circular economy.&quot;.<\/p><p>This major congress allowed for the dissemination of advances in soil science in Latin America and the Caribbean and brought to light the advances and challenges surrounding soil, a resource so important for food security.<\/p><p>The event was organized by the Latin American Society (SLCS), the Bolivian Society of Soil Science (SBCS) in conjunction with the Tropical Agricultural Research Center (CIAT), the Gabriel Rene Moreno Autonomous University (UAGRM) and the Bolivian Evangelical University (UEB), with the theme &quot;United for Soil Health&quot; (<a href=\"https:\/\/suelossantacruz2025.com\/\">https:\/\/suelossantacruz2025.com\/<\/a>).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-300f2dc elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"300f2dc\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-23f925e\" data-id=\"23f925e\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48f245f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"48f245f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Among the conclusions it is noted that threats to soil resources persist, which increase their degradation, such as:<\/p><ul><li>Erosion,<\/li><li>Loss of organic matter (organic carbon)<\/li><li>Loss of biodiversity<\/li><li>Metal contamination<\/li><li>Improper nutrient management<\/li><li>Salinization<\/li><li>Desertification and decrease in humidity<\/li><\/ul><p>At the end of the event, it was agreed that the 25th Latin American Congress of Soil Science will be held in Asunci\u00f3n, Paraguay, in 2027.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-ea3d473 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"ea3d473\" data-element_type=\"section\"
