act\u00faa de dos formas: por una parte, controla pat\u00f3genos causantes de enfermedades foliares e induce a una resistencia sist\u00e9mica y, por otra parte, act\u00faa como promotor de crecimiento. Es importante destacar que el g\u00e9nero <em>Bacillus<\/em> forma endosporas cuando las condiciones no son favorables y estas le permiten soportar condiciones adversas (alta radiaci\u00f3n, sequ\u00eda, etc.).
