The National University of the Altiplano of Puno – Peru, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, from September 22 to 25, 2025, held the International Seminar: Agriculture and Adaptation to Climate Change with the participation of exhibitors from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Bolivia, and Peru. The PROINPA Foundation was represented by Wilfredo Rojas, who gave the keynote lecture on September 25th. “Quinoa Genetic Diversity and Sustainable Agricultural Practices for Adaptation to Climate Change in the Bolivian Highlands”At the end of the seminar, she received the Medal from the National University of the Altiplano and recognition for her participation in the PROINPA International Seminar. She shared her experiences on the work they have been doing with the genetic diversity of quinoa and the development of Sustainable Agricultural Practices (SAP) to contribute to the sustainable production of quinoa in Bolivia.
