Strengthening the sustainable growth of MSMEs linked to Royal Quinoa through regenerative practices and circular economy.
On October 27 and 28, 2025, the event was held in Bolivia. International Symposium on Regenerative Agriculture – Royal Quinoa, a space developed within the framework of AL-INVEST Green Program in Bolivia, funded by the European Union: “Sustainable growth of MSMEs working with Royal Quinoa in Bolivia, through regenerative agriculture and a circular economy”.
Over two days, the symposium brought together researchers, producers, technicians, authorities, students and public and private institutions, in a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on regenerative practices, technological innovation, and productive sustainability. The activities included keynote lectures, workshops and social spaces.
The keynote lectures They were led by national and international experts, including: Romina Fernández from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology – INTA (Argentina), Marco Aurelio and Javier Huiza from the Federal University of Lavras (Brazil, virtual modality), Giovanna Plata from the PROINPA Foundation (Bolivia), Luis Cruces Navarro from the La Molina Agrarian University (Peru) and Reinaldo Quispe from the PROINPA Foundation (Bolivia).
The group working sessions allowed for a more in-depth, participatory exploration of the challenges and opportunities of soil management and biological regeneration of soils. Problems and challenges related to the quinoa pest insects, proposing sustainable control strategies.









The event culminated with the presentation of certificates to the speakers, Recognizing the valuable technical and academic contributions of the aforementioned speakers, this event highlighted their commitment to disseminating scientific and practical knowledge about regenerative agriculture and the sustainable use of soil in the production of Royal Quinoa. The presentations offered valuable insights into the challenges and progress surrounding pesticide use and the transition to more sustainable agricultural practices.
